dc.description.abstract Second-harmonic generation in the region of 8S7/2 → 6IJ(J = 15/2, 13/2, 11/2, 9/2, 7/2) transitions in Gd3+ ion in Gd-diglycolate (Na3[Gd(C4H4O5)3]-2NaClO4-6H2O) crystal has been investigated, and at two-photon resonance, the role of the J-selection rule has been analysed. © 1983.
