dc.description.abstract The radiative decays of heavy mesons are studied in the heavy quark symmetry formalism. Assuming the traditional picture of photon emission by the confined quark or antiquark, we obtain the transition matrix elements for the heavy quark current sector. For the light quark sector we employ the ISGW quark model. The results obtained agree reasonably well with other estimations.
