dc.description.abstract | Two symmetrical and one unsymmetrical 'push-pull' amphiphilic 2,2'-bipyridine chromophores have been synthesized through Horner-Wordsworth- Emmons and Knoevenagel reaction mechanized synthetic protocols and characterized by spectroscopy.
