dc.description.abstract The quenching behaviour of the triplets of C60 and C70 towards various nitroxide radicals has been investigated by the flash-photolysis technique. The quenching rate constants lie between 1.9 × 109 and 3.7 × 109 M-1 s-1. Possible quenching mechanisms are discussed. © 1992.
