dc.description.abstract The present chapter focuses on the importance of molybdenum cyclopentadienyl carbonyl complexes as catalysts for the epoxidation of olefins. The role of substituents on the cyclopentadienyl moiety and other ligands attached directly to the molybdenum center has also been elaborated. Further, the chapter describes the significance of ansabridged complexes as oxidation catalysts. Heterogenization of organometallic molybdenum complexes with various surfaces and their catalytic application is also described briefly.F
