Abstract
This paper presents quantification of different types of random errors present in the Fiber Optics Gyroscope (FOG) measured data using Allan Variance analysis and denoising of the measured data using Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). Allan Variance analysis is performed before and after denoising the measured data. The experimental result shows that after denoising the angle random walk is reduced and therefore sensitivity of FOG is increased. © 2009 IEEE.
