dc.description.abstract In recent times, several hints of lepton non-universality have been observed in b → cl ¯νl and b → sll decay processes. In this context, we perform a model independent analysis of the semileptonic baryonic Λb → (Λc, p)lνl decay processes in order to probe the structure of new physics. We constrain the new parameter space by using the measured branching ratios of Bc,u+ →τ+ντ, B → πτντ processes and the existing experimental results on RD(∗) and Rπl parameters. Using the constrained new couplings, we estimate the branching fractions and forward-backward asymmetries of the Λb → (Λc, p)lνl processes. As like B meson decays, we also examine the possible presence of lepton universality violation in these decay modes.
