dc.description.abstract Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase from the leaves of Amaranthus viridis was inhibited by pyrophosphate. The inhibition was competitive with respect to phosphoenolpyruvate (Ki 0.85 mm) and noncompetitive with respect to bicarbonate. © 1980.
