EPR studies of copper(II) complexes of phenanthraquinonedioxime and benzoquinonedioxime

Abstract

The complexes, Cu(pqdH)2 and Cu(bqdH)2 (pqdH2 = phenanthraquinonedioxime, bqdH2 = benzoquinonedioxime) and the doped samples, Cu/ Ni(pqdH)2 and Cu/Ni(bqdH)2 have been investigated by EPR studies. The parameters derived by computer simulation are used to obtain bonding parameters for these planar CuN4 complexes having equation presented ground state.
