| dc.description.abstract | The solvothermal treatment of Re < inf > 2 < /inf > (CO) < inf > 10 < /inf > with 2-(imidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-2-yl)phenol (IPPOH) resulted in a dimer, [{Re(CO) < inf > 3 < /inf > } < inf > 2 < /inf > (IPPO) < inf > 2 < /inf > ] (1). Monomeric complexes [{Re(CO) < inf > 3 < /inf > }(IPPO)(L)] (L = pyridine for 2; L = 4-dimethylaminopyridine for 3) were obtained by treatment of Re < inf > 2 < /inf > (CO) < inf > 10 < /inf > , IPPOH and a nitrogen donor. Complexes 1-3 were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, analytical and spectroscopic techniques. | |
