Abstract
1-Acetoxyl-1-arylalkanes have been enantioselectively hydrolyzed by crude bovine liver acetone powder (BLAP) to provide the corresponding 1-aryl-1-alkanols in high (90 - > 99%) optical purities. © 1992.
