dc.description.abstract Presented is a novel reversible bound model for memory which encompasses both long term memory (LTM) as well as short term memory (STM). The LTM is produced by 'reinforced/rigorous learning' or by 'revision', while the STM comes in naturally. The process of reinforced/rigorous learning is not only ineffective in creating LTM in Parisi's model and STM in Gordon's model, but also creates anomalous results in these models.
