dc.description.abstract A detailed theoretical account of the dynamics of the He I photoionization of ClO2 and the photodetachment of its negative ion was made. For this purpose, the near equilibrium ab initio C2v potential energy surfaces of Peterson and Werner were used. The theoretical results were in very good agreement with the experimental recording, as well as the earlier theoretical results.
