dc.description.abstract Polynitro aryl-azole (pyrazole and imidazole) derivatives were successfully synthesized and characterized by IR, NMR [1H13C], HRMS and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC-TGA). Some of the compounds (5,10 & 11) were also characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD). The physicochemical properties for the synthesized (5,8,10,11 & 13) compounds were investigated among the all compounds 8 exhibit excellent calculated detonation properties superior to RDX and HMX.
