dc.description.abstract Introduction is divided into two parts A and B. In part A, the scope and objectives of the chapters 2 and 3 on vanadium complexes have been discussed in the background of known vanadium chemistry. In part B, the chemistry of polynuclear complexes and coordination polymers of transition metal ions with multidentate and compartmental ligands and the scope and objectives of the chapters 4–6 are discussed.
