dc.description.abstract Measurement of inductive (χ') and loss component (χ'') of complex a.c. susceptibility have been carried out on Ga2O3 substituted Bi-2212 superconductor as a function of temperature and applied a.c. magnetic field amplitude to study their granular behaviour. Substitution of Ga in this system is most likely to take place in the BiO bilayers and does not lead to improvement in flux pinning behaviour. © 1991.
