dc.description.abstract The molecular structure of cyclohexylammonium 2-′hydroxy-2-biphenyl phosphonate was discussed. The hydrogen bonding was described using the atom numbering scheme in which all non-H atoms were represented by 25% probability displacement ellipsoids. The oxygen connected to the biphenoxy residue is not involved in hydrogen bonding and the other two are involved in the intermolecular hydrogen bonding. The hydrolytic pathways leading to cleavage of the P-N or P-O bond were also discussed.
