dc.description.abstract An efficient procedure for the synthesis of pyranocarbazole derivatives using copper catalysed Povarov reaction between aromatic amines and O-propargyl carbazole carboxaldehyde has been developed. Ionic liquid is found to be a good solvent medium. © 2014 Indian Academy of Sciences.
