dc.description.abstract Methyl alkylalkenylborlnates, obtained via hydroboration of alkynes with alkylbromoboranes, followed by methanolysis, react with alkynyllithlum reagents In THF to form the corresponding “ate” complexes, which, on treatment with 1.33 equiv of BF3-OEt2, produce the desired alkylalkenylalkynylboranes, thus providing a convenient and simple synthesis of these hitherto inaccessible organoboranes. © 1983, American Chemical Society.
