dc.description.abstract Using Lorentz-covariant sources, we calculate the multiplicity distribution of n pair correlated particles emerging from a Lorentz-covariant phase-space volume. We use the Kim-Wigner formalism and identify these sources as the squeezed states of a relativistic harmonic oscillator. The applications of this to multiplicity distributions in particle physics is discussed. © 1992 The American Physical Society.
