dc.description.abstract We study the effect of scalar leptoquarks on some rare decays of Bs mesons involving the quark level transition b→s l+l-. In particular we consider the decays Bs→μ+μ-, B̄d0→Xsμ+μ- and Bs→ μ+μ-. The leptoquark parameter space is constrained using the recently measured branching ratio of the Bs→μ+μ- process at LHCb and CMS experiments. Using such parameters we obtain the branching ratio, forward-backward asymmetry and the CP asymmetry parameters in the angular distribution of Bs→ μ+μ- process. © 2014 American Physical Society.
