dc.description.abstract Synthesis and magnetic characterization of the title complex are presented. This complex was chosen as a test case for the superexchange mechanism proposed for organic ferromagnetism. Two related complexes involving the strong acceptor hexacyanotrimethylenecyclopropane are prepared and characterized. All the systems show antiferromagnetic coupling, two of them exhibiting one-dimensional Heisenberg antiferromagnet behaviour. © 1992.
