Abstract
A fresh look is taken at the phenomenon of electron-localization in glassy solids, particularly 2d, within Anderson's tight-binding model. The self-avoiding-walk terms in the renormalized perturbation series (RPS) have been analyzed for their role in the convergence of the series. The approach has the potential of a powerful technique to investigate the metal-insulator transition across the mobility-edges in glassy systems of arbitrary dimensions.
