dc.description.abstract Neutral trinuclear metallocavitand possessing three-types of molecular receptor units (A, B, and C; four exocyclic calixarene-shaped cavities (A and C) and one endocyclic cavity (B)) suitable to accommodate small ion/neutral molecules were obtained from Re2(CO)10, benzimidazole, and 1,3,5-tris(benzimidazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene in a one-pot approach.
