dc.description.abstract The leading-order term of the 1 N expansion for the energy of a spin-zero relativistic particle described by the Klein-Gordon equation is derived from the classical relativistic energy assuming the system's uncertainty product to be minimum. This suggests that the large-N limit is as classical a limit as possible. © 1987.
