dc.description.abstract	We characterize the sets of periodic points of bounded linear operators on a Hilbert space H. We also find the pairs (A,M), where A ⊂ ℕ, M ⊂ H such that there exists a bounded linear operator T on H with A as the set of periods and M as the set of periodic points.
