AMBEDKAR'S PHILOSOPHY: AN ENQUIRY IN TO HIS IDEAS ON RELIGION AND MORALITY

Since the period of the Enlightenment, the relation between morality and religion has been the subject of more general philosophical analysis, as distinct from its treatment in the hands of theologian. The general understanding is that as systems of thoughts, morality and religion both considered very close to the essential nature of philosophy. Philosophy gives its main thrust to the normative ideas. Descriptive realm says us wh~t is the going on at present. HON one can make judgment about the descriptive realm. How one can take a certain attitude towards the descriptive realm. A close analysis reveals that human attitude not only malter descriptive realm, it also contains normative bite. Human activities precisely contain attitudes, judgments towards certain given circumstances. The explanations of human activity ofreject.ing or receiving with normative claim necessarily presuppose norms.
