| dc.description.abstract | The relative affinity of α‐ and β‐cyclodextrin columns for amylases were evaluated. While both α‐ and β‐cyclodextrin columns bound α‐amylase, there was no affinity binding of β‐amylase. These columns can be used to separate α‐amylase from β‐amylase enzyme present in higher plants.
